Y'all I've found the Holy Grail of all shoes!
My husband and I went to town recently and stopped by Academy Sports to look around for hiking shoes in case of an SHTF situation or just to wear around the Homestead . (Im a flip flop kinda gal but you can't really hike or bug out comfortably in those) I seen these shoes and fell in love with them. Of course I had to try them on and O MY WORD were they comfortable! But the price 😱 $110! As most of you know I don't pay full price for anything but I would have for these IF I hadn't found them on Amazon for $55 with free shipping 😊
Here's a link the price went up $10 but still $66 isn't bad! I plan on buying another pair to put up for when these are to worn out to wear anymore.

I normally wear a size 8 1/2 in tennis shoes but I had to buy a 9 1/2 in these and they fit perfect with enough room for thick sock to be worn if necessary.

I love Merrells! I use them for hiking too as well as my work as a stagehand. The waterproofing lasts even longer if you spray them with waterproof seal every 6 months. Assuming you are wearing these casually for hikes they can last a good long while. Great deal on the price too, well done!

I am notorious for looking for the best deal. Another to is don't go to Lowe's without getting a coupon off of eBay, I've done it while in the store and they scan it on my phone.

😂 I made the mistake of hiking in them once and it was the last time! My feet hurt so bad at the end, I tripped and fell so many times, cuts and scrapes all over my hands and feet! I was trying to prove a point but it backfired on me!

They do look comfy! Having the right footwear is all important.
I've had my favourite boots for about 6 years now. I use them a lot, and they are getting rather worn now.
