Presenting Myself: Martusamak, a common man

Fellow Steemians,

Call me Martusamak, a 29 years old common man from planet earth, more specifically from Portugal. I work as a waiter in a cafeteria, while I’m saving for a career change. I got a degree in Anthropology but never found a job opportunity here in my country. So I started doing volunteer work in the Social Sciences field at a local Institution, for a few months now.
Have the kind heart to bear with me, and my non-native English (all corrections are welcome!) as I write my first Steem post.

I finally found the guts to present myself. I am a really shy guy (yes, even on the internet!!!) and feel really insecure about whatever I do. I am aware the this is really a life limiting situation. I know one just has to go out there and throw ourselves to the lions.
Work is never ready. Never finished. Never perfect enough. Fear leading to procrastination. I believe that some of you know the symptoms as well as I do.

BUT, I had enough of that. Been preparing my first series of posts, that will come out in the next week, about my personal finance management, as I strive to achieve financial stability. And some improvement... I hope. :)

Oh, by the way, I have just become a father (1st child) of a little cutie baby girl on the 14st of October... YAY!!!

Fun facts:

• I leave close to a beach in the north of Portugal;
• I’ve played electric guitar in a few garage bands;
• Martusamak isn’t my real name. Could you guess how I came up with that word? Tip: derives from a well known word from Asia.
