First of all adobe illustrator can be used for doing so many task such as drawing, painting and even writing logos and so many task.
Now if you are using your personal computer you boot your computer. Like this below 👇
So the next step is i go to my search panel below. NOTE: it may not be present in all systems it varies depending on the windows you are using. So for those using windows 11 just go to those icons lined and click on the search button 👇
Then type adobe illustrator. NOTE: the software must be installed in your PC. So then double click on it to open. It may take a little time so chill.
Now the adobe illustrator window looks like this 👇
So the next step is: you click on "create new" then another panel will show by the right hand side of the illustrator window like this👇
There you can go and set your width to lets use 1000 by 1000 height. Then makesure you set it to pixels then landscape then go down and select "create". Watch out! The cursor will automatically change to somewhat like a finger which means it loading, then a white background shows which is called your " artboard" or "workspace". Like this 👇
Then now listen carefully. For beginners and for those who are not very good in drawing you can download pencil drawn character of your choice on google but NOTE: i recommend the downloaded character for educational purposes and to enable you learn faster.
So go to your file at the top of the screen just above the tool panel and click on " file" then select "open" then this will show up 👇
Then select the folder you saved your downloaded image to or you can search too then click on the image then click on open or you just drag the image to the artboard arena like this👇
