The Mount Zion Foundation brings a timeless collection of mystical artifacts from the Royal Tomb Complex of King David on Mount Zion, the last resting place of the great King.
July 31thth, 2020, Boca Raton, Florida – King David, the second King of Jerusalem, and the author of “The Psalms” is more than a biblical figure. He’s the archetype for every generation. The Mount Zion Foundation has compiled an extraordinary collection of artifacts that are reminiscent of the great King’s golden reign.
The collection comprises nine main artifacts and the recently retired Tomb and Arc covers that, as proclaimed by millions of pilgrims, possess spiritual blessings.

They can serve as centerpieces at distinguished synagogues, renowned hospital prayer/Psalm rooms, and museums as a spiritual, cultural or as a historical exhibit. Major corporations can also acquire these extraordinary artifacts for display purposes. Each item in the collection is utterly rare and creates a sense of peace and tranquility, inspired by these Spiritual Artifacts.

Rabbi Gerald Goldstein, a founder member of the Mount Zion Foundation, states, “We wish to share these blessings of heavenly treasures from King David’s tomb with as many people and institutions as possible. It will be a benevolent act of kindness to establish a place where people can draw hope by encountering these sacred artifacts. Just as King David loved and prayed for all of G-d’s children, so, too, the sacred artifacts of Mount Zion will inspire all those who visit them to strive for the betterment of humanity.”

The artifacts include King David’s, Upper Tomb Pre-State Monument Cover (7.5 ft. by 15ft), which is the tapestry that covered the monument of King David’s Tomb from 1880 to 1948. It has soaked up the tears of pilgrims and seekers. It has felt the touch of mystics and is embedded with symbolism and secret meanings.

It is believed, after extensive research, to have been donated by Barron Edmond de Rothschild (1845-1934) on one of his many visits to the Tomb of David on Holy Mount Zion. This Artifact corresponds to the Element of Water and the Blessing of Life. Pilgrims who lingered viewing the Monument Cover came away experiencing an outpouring of Vitality and Longevity.

Another mystic artifact that is part of the collection is the Window Frames of Transforming Light from the upper level of the tomb, referred to as “The Cenacle and the room of the Holy Spirit.”

According to the pilgrims –“These Blessed Window Frames of Absolution and Forgiveness” can help transform the negative influences in one’s life into joyous positive energy when accompanied by sincere Prayer, remorse, and deep faith.

Other pieces include the legendary Tzedaka (charity chest) that stood at the tomb’s gateway and corresponds to the element of Air and the Blessings of Material Abundance. We also have the only remaining door from the Royal Tomb complex, corresponding to the subtle Energy of Holiness and the Blessing of Peace and Tranquility,

Finally, we have the stone that covered King David’s Well of Blessing and Miracles – a symbol of hope and fertility. Local scholars, theologians and foreign historians have placed timeless and legendary figures at this Holy Site and by this well.

Considering the significance and value of this collection, it is imperative to find guardians who will preserve the artifacts. Expanding on the topic, Rabbi Gerald Goldstein states, “The honored guardians must possess the means to display these most unusual, extraordinary, and unique spiritual artifacts for the benefits of those who wish to encounter them. We are searching for guardians who are willing and able to preserve, maintain, and promote King David’s Psalm and room of hope.”

There’s no denying that these artifacts will become a great attraction and asset, as it is the only such display in the entire world. Until then, we can only imagine the blessings and sense of tranquility one would feel in the presence of the holy artifacts from the King’s treasure hold.
