We must pay close attention in 2018 and vote for everyone that respects these values. Do not just take their word for it, look at their track record as far back as you can. We need to take this process into our own hands and be involved more than ever as a collective. I think we might see some of that type of thing, 2018 is at least a chance to get some honorable people in there..whatever of them are left in this awful political landscape. I do hope they are sued for false arrest and imprisonment. This man had to wait in a holding area until his bail was set. That could have taken 12+ hours. With all that being said, the internet is our greatest asset to protecting our freedom as it is how we can get together and discuss these issues. With the looming FCC changes, we need to do everything we can to stop them. It is one small step toward completely shutting out the voice of freedom that is the internet. First the media, then the journalists, then comes the internet on the hit list and last abolition of free speech as we know it. We must protect our internet.
