You Are Worth As Much As You Believe You Do

Great article! This really hit home for me, as I've been guilt of chasing salary and not really focusing on what I think my worth is. I feel a lot of this has resulted from working for someone else. Though, now I'm working to be free and work for myself... And it's very true (in regards to a comment above) that when people compare how many hours they work, like it's some type of measure of accomplishment, I usually undermine it by stating that I aim to work no overtime. That usually ends the pissing contest right there, but sometimes someone will retort with some weak explanation as to why they have to work 50-60 hours/week - even though working that much actually has the opposite effect, it cheapens their value.

Yeap, unless you roll by yourself, you are going to stumble upon these incidents more and more.

Indeed, people reduce their value by working so much. Notice how many jobs today even expect you to work for free in order to gain experience...
