Your article is nice, but I think you forgot one thing: the scalability problem. Blocks are full! SegWit was supposed to bring larger blocks, but after 75 days, it's still far from being implemented, and nobody knows if it will be. Regarding SegWit2X, I'm afraid it's not going anywhere as it has very little support. So for the foreseeable future, Bitcoin will soon see again rising fees and transaction delays.
