We're set for another royal wedding in 2018 as Princess Eugenie of York, 27, and her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank , 31, are set to wed this autumn.

The pair will marry at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle - the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will say 'I do' on May 19.

Mr Brooksbank, a wine merchant, popped the question in Nicaragua earlier this month and the happy couple released their official engagement photos today.

Eugenie, who is eighth in line to the throne, wore a £1,288 floral embroidered cap sleeve 'Hetty' dress by British label Erdem with black satin heels from Jimmy Choo.

She proudly showed off her engagement ring - a padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds, which bears a resemblance to the one worn by her mother, Sarah Ferguson.

Jack complemented his fiancée in a black suit with a red patterned tie.

Eugenie's choice of outfit is perfect for her bold sense of style and she always looks gorgeous in prints, but at the same time, it champions British fashion.

The pair posed in the Picture Gallery at Buckingham Palace, in London, which is an appropriate setting, given that Eugenie is an associate director at Hauser & Wirth art gallery.

The photos are much more low key in contrast to Harry and Meghan's high profile engagement, but we like that the Princess of York has injected a bit of her own personality.

The Duchess of Cambridge and Meghan Markle both chose very tailored block colour ensembles to announce their engagements - Kate wore a blue Issa dress, while the US actress wore a white belted coat by Canadian brand Line The Label with a dark green dress underneath.

Meghan Markle's style so far - and our predictions for her royal wedding dress

Eugenie has a been a bit more daring with her hemline and print, but very sensibly chose a high-neck to avoid upsetting any royal protocols.

While designers of royal wedding dresses are notoriously kept under wraps, we can't wait to see who Eugenie chooses to design her gown.

The Royal Family are set to mark 2018 with a number of major events, including the two weddings.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are due to welcome their third child in April.

And the Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall and her husband Mike are expecting their second child this year.
