Giving Google the Middle Finger (or, how to leave Google in the past and keep your present and future private.)

in privacy •  6 years ago

I wrote an article on my Medium blog, and thought you guys might be interested in it.
It's all about all the great alternatives for (and sometimes, better than) Google's selection of products. Reading this article is a step towards your privacy.

Click here to check it out! I'd also love some feedback, which you can comment here or on Medium itself!

The link I've provided above grants you free access to the article, where normally it would require you to purchase the Medium Member package. In return, I'd appreciate some votes! Thanks!

Maybe you could have mentioned Steemit as the new Blogger :) Do people really pay to read articles? That's a real barrier to access.

I just got round to updating the post. Thanks again for suggesting the idea!

It is, that's why I typically post the link that doesn't paywall you over here in Steemit. It gives access to the many, not the few. However, I also choose to publish under the Partner program for my larger articles because I spend a lot of time and effort working on those, and so I feel I deserve some sort of payment.

That's a very good point about Steemit replacing Blogger. I should add that in. Thanks! :)
