Tomb - A New Decent Encryption Linux Tool

in privacy •  8 years ago

Finally it seems we got a nice encryption tool for linux which is fully opensource. I have installed it on one of my laptops and so far looks great.

Tomb is an 100% free and open source system for file encryption on GNU/Linux, facilitating the backup of secret files. Tomb is written in code that is easy to review and links commonly shared components.
Tomb generates encrypted storage folders to be opened and closed using their associated keyfiles, which are also protected with a password chosen by the user.

This is good all others were complex in nature or not even fully Open Sourced.

IMO worth trying.

Killer post dude!
this....

And this should be a trending post... Good job man!!

I also recommend checking out VeraCrypt for this same purpose, which has actually been audited.

Very hard to see the novel content in this post, You've quit your job to do what exactly ? Posting on Steem ? There should be no expectation of income from the blockchain itself.
