Politicians/rulers are not here to serve 'the people' but themselves (I suggest Anarcho-capitalism & Agorism). For lasting user privacy, apps developers must 'go underground'. Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) [maybe Aragon to help: aragon.org ] + end-to-end encrypted apps. I even can suggest something: https://berty.tech/ , https://getsession.org/ , https://jami.net/
