Have you ever wondered how many of your data and information google has about you?
well it is actually easy to know and delete the once you don't want them to have, just visit https://myaccount.google.com/dashboard
Once you are logged in, you will see a page containing cards of google services that you may have data on
Each card represents the information about the google service and the data you are storing in it, when the card is expanded, the user gets more information about that service.
there is a link below the card which links to that service directly were you can view or edit the setting of that particular service.
FOR MAXIMUM SECURITY SCROLL DOWN TO "your Activity data" section and set all services to paused
Notice that there are many card there, and each card contains a very detailed data about you, from every search term you entered on google to every video you have watched on YouTube. But the one that is most Amazing is the Location History card
Now click on the "three dots" menu and selecting "Download data" Now the downloaded file is in Jason format by default but you can choose to download it on the KML format which will allow you to make a map out of it using Google Earth or any other mapping application.
I hope you now have a better understanding of where your personal data is being stored and also how to change the privacy
It's good to share this information in a lot of places. I don't think most people know what Google knows about them. But, to be fair, I think most people don't care what Google knows. Also, however, I don't think these same people really understand what's at stake either! The more people are educated as to WHY it matters to know and be aware the better.
