Now a days the term ‘load shedding is very familiar with us.
It means the discontinuation of supply of electricity. Inadequate generation of power and its unplanned distribution are primarily responsible for load shedding. Due to load shedding modern life is very much hampered. Houses, mills, factories, industries, hospitals all fall a victim to it. The running mills come to stand still. Lives in home also become painful. Patients in the hospitals become helpless and operation of a serious patient may stopped suddenly ‘for load shedding. The sufferings of the students due to load shedding beggars description. The food, kept in the refrigerator gets rotten. The commodities preserved in the cold storages get spoiled. In fact wards are inadequate to describe the bad impacts of load shedding on our everyday life. All of us who are concerned with the event should take necessary steps to stop load shedding.
