How To Stop Obsessing With Problems

in problems •  7 years ago  (edited)

Even if there is a series of fantastic events, the slightest trouble will happen, then all attention will be paid to it.
Recognized yourself? Oooh, YES! 😫

This is how many people are organized. When you are obsessed with something, we can’t think of anything else. Our actions, decisions, regrets, concern for the future — we start to get hung up on one thing, scrolling in the head until exhaustion. Of course, this deprives the mood, strength and energy…

How to get out of this “mental labyrinth” and move on?

There are hundreds of such articles and different techniques inside the internet and books👀. Tons of female psychologists 👩🏻‍💼who say that the new haircut is a panacea for all problems! Nevertheless, the topic is still relevant which means that people only read, but do not do anything😿. As for me, there is only one way to stop obsessing :
Focus not on the problem, but on its solution.

I will not write about the meditation and self-complacency. This is for the whimps. Get up and fight. 🤼‍♂️

Realize the problem, analyze it and then switch to finding a solution — instead of endless experiences that something has gone wrong and what to do now.

During my 2-year living in China I had soooooo many troubles! (My music band 🎼was called Troublemakers. Сoincidence? I don't think so😁).

We’d gone through everything you can imagine — no money, police, missed plane, stupid doctors, who can not read any latin drug name, canceled visas and deportation.😱 But anyway, I’m here sitting in a cool coworking writing this. And I feel awesome with no regrets and obsessions. How? — Сalmness and Сoncentration.

Try and consider all “POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS” — even if, at first glance, they seem ridiculous😵. To launch creative thinking, which can prompt possible solutions, it is important not to give up any idea right away.🛣
You probably noticed more than once that after some problem is solved, you remember about the wasted nerves and think: “But it was not worth worrying, it was not worth it”.💪
🤔Think using phrases: “what if …” and “imagine if …”. These expressions give our minds the ability to think creatively and stimulate new solutions. Avoid using closed, negative statements, for example: ❌“I do not think that …” or “This is not right, but …”. ❌

Do not rush things.⏰

If the situation gradually begins to shift from the “dead point”, then let this process occur at the right pace. Do not expect that everything should be settled instantly.

Remember :

If the problem can be solved, then don’t worry about it. If it can not - then worrying about it is useless.

So if you found the solution, congratulations, there is no need for unnecessary nerves. Just stay calm and keep going.
