Computer hardware class PART 3

in processor •  6 years ago  (edited)

Hello friends, welcome back to the 2nd part of the 3rd part of computer hardware classes. In the last class we have learn about motherboards which is heart of a computer system, here in this part we are going to learn about the Processor of a computer system which is the brain of a computer. So let’s begin

  1. A processor is also known as the C.P.U (central processing unit)
  2. It gives the command to all the computer parts to work
  3. It is just an IC (integrated circuit) which is made up of silicon phosphate
  4. The main speed of any computer system depends upon the capacity of computer system
  5. You might have heard about the term “dual core, Core-2-duo, i3 processor, i5 processor, AMD processor, i7 processor etc” these are nothing but the capacity of the brain power of a computer system
  6. As much as capacity of the processor holds it can perform faster and efficiently
  7. It performs all the arithmetical and logical programs and provide instructions to the computer to work and gives output
  8. It is placed in the CPU socket provided in the mother board

These are some of the general information about processor or microprocessor, if you want more detail regarding processor please do comment below, upvote and follow me for next update on computer hardware class
