Today I am struggling a little bit. It started as a simple question, being unable to send a ping signal between two computers, but then it turned out to deal with two computers on different internal networks, and thus, they were not able to communicate with one another. I guess this has got to do with routing tables, but I am not sure if the main router is capable of dealing with such things, thus this has turned into a way more complicated thing than I first imagined.
I am not at all a networking engineer, but I am very eager to learn more about how it all works, so I am afraid that I will not be at peace before I solve the problem.
I guess this comes with good timing, knowing that I am trying to learn as much as possible about networking as a part of the Google IT Support certificate that I am working on right now.
All in all, I wish I had all the time in the world. The problem is that I do not have all the time in the world. And when you spend hours solving problems like this it gets annoying, because you feel like time is flying without getting anything done. That isn't a good feeling.
