This is another very common topic, so I do apologise if you want something more original, but oh well.
Programming is a field with a shortage of workers for the amount of jobs available. Over the next 10 years there will be over 1.4 million jobs in programming available and only around 400.000 people will be qualified enough for these jobs. This is a industry with a massive whole missing.
Programming has become a part of everyday life and I think that sometimes we don't realise this. We sometimes don't open our eyes and think about how somethings made. Whether it be a washing machine or the oven.
I myself am a student and have learnt programming(but by no means am I good) and feel that everybody should learn this skill, or at least be given the opportunity too. 90% of the schools in US don't teach it and not many schools in the UK do not as well.
Advantages of learning code for students and for Adults
Good career(can also be well payed)
Fill up shortage of jobs
furthers technology advancement more quickly
If you feel the same as I do feel free to leave a comment or just leave a comment with any questions.
