thanks @cryptonik love your article and keep them coming it's quite complex situation because I hear Microsoft contributes more software to Linux kernel than Ubuntu does which is super crazy isn't it?! (I think they made their Fat32 File System Open Source for use with USB devices natively in Linux as a code contribution) For me bottom line is we need to launch our own human crowdfunded open source outer-space network for high speed low latency free encrypted global public access complete with our own space cars and all on the Blockchain for our end goal as we're all focused on building a better cleaner, healthier and more peaceful and empowered global community for humans!🖥

You are absolutely right. Bottom line is Ubuntu sold out and depends on proprietary packages. If you want to roll 100% legit you have to be very diligent about the software you use and check everything. Have you looked into Substratum? They plan to build a blockchain based Tor Network with reward system, they are quite far along on their roadmap too.

We need to break hold of the carrier company's that control the undersea cables and also the space based setup - until we humans get it together and launch our own satellites and submarine cables for the people we will always be controlled by these greedy monopolies. Yeah food, software, space and just about all industries. So I'm advocating space-based/undersea-cable open source internet infrastructure that isn't OWNED!

Hello yeah, I'm down! You're absolutely right!
