Microsoft released to a web development resources roadmap for new developers to start learning programming.
Not sure whether it's a good idea. Apple is really good at marketing their phones and stuff. We will see if they succeed in this programming bubble.
Apple wants to teach people how to use their proprietary programming languages and tools to produce applications for their proprietary devices. I'm not stating that it's either good or bad, but it's pretty clear that their goal is to bring more people to the platform, and if one way to do so is by locking in potential developers who don't know what language to start with, then why wouldn't they?
