    You can argue both ways. Code can be very mechanical in nature and hence not art but well written code should be able to transcend what is done so humans can read it and understand the intent. That is art :)

      Art as an Activity intended to make something special. Note without our artistic mindset, do you think we can create anything? Facebook as an example; is a creation of beauty...
