I'm Currently Working on an Open Source Laravel CMS

in programming •  7 years ago  (edited)

I do not like WordPress much because it scrambles php and html into this gross noodle language. Themes require hours upon hours to develop, and many features such as live analytics are also missing. I have recently started working on a new cms with Laravel. Hopefully I will have completed a beta version by August, although I am currently also studying and taking a calculus course I need to study in Germany. This is taking up a considerate amount of my time. Nevertheless I will remain persistent, and ounce I complete it I will share it here on @Steemit as an open-source software. Here is a preview of the login and Dashboard:

Features will include:

  1. Address Book of clients
  2. Real-time Analytics of, hits, clicks, subscriptions, social media stats, post distribution
  3. Real-time banking, including iban/wire, visa, mastercard, paypal, bitcoin, litecoin, ethereum, fastcoin, and steem
  4. Posting to social media via api
  5. Email imap and smtp
  6. A blog including comments
  7. A file manager
  8. Pages
  9. Themes, Laravel already has a clean parsing system
  10. User management
  11. Inventory and product manager for e-commerce
  12. Checkout system

I'm using:

  1. CSS Bootstrap
  2. Font Awesome
  3. PHP Laravel framework
  4. JQuery Masonry

Let me know what I could be missing and should add in the comments below! Also if you know good JavaScript open-source software for building charts let me know!
