To all Steemians that aspires to become a programmer.
Dear Steemian,
Hello Steemians, been awhile... If you are a novice in programming and you're aspiring to engage, then this post is for you.
Based on my experience, many programming aspirants have been scared to dive into programming because of the complexity of programming languages(irony).
Programming languages are just languages that the computer understands, we originate from diverse roots with different languages and dialects, learning and speaking these native languages is no different from learning and speaking the computer language as well. Contrary to what majority believe in, programming languages are easy to learn and speak, they're just set of syntax (rules) that has to be combined and used(concord) in accordance with these rules. Furthermore, programming languages are the formal languages that can be used to speak to computer systems with the aim of solving a problem.
Learning any programming language only requires what other native languages require from you, DEDICATION AND DETERMINATION. In order to be a successful and prominent programmer, you need these requirements almost excessively.
There are tons of programming languages you can learn;
If you aim at programming for computer hardwares, then C language is for you,
If you aim at native mobile applications, Java or Kotlin which is a Java runtime is working looking into,
If you aim at AI or machine learning, Python is great plus it's dead easy to learn,
If you aim at the web and using web technologies to build hybrid applications, JavaScript is the best in addition with HTML and CSS,
PHP, C++, Nodejs are good for backend programming.
These are popular programming languages to mention few, you're encouraged to research for more languages that best suits your needs https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programming_languages.
N.B: HTML & CSS are not programming languages, HTML is a markup language, while CSS is a styling language. But if you wish to use the programming aspect of CSS, you can check on "CSS PREPROCESSORS".
So far, so good... If you've been scared to dive into programming because of its assumed complexity, change yourself today, because "Programming is one of the most interesting things to do".
Yours faithfully, Variable.
