The following series of posts are a part of a free course that I am publishing and transcribing for beginner web developers. This free course is going to be a free preview of my paid course entitled "How to create a website with HTML and CSS."
In this free preview you will get a taste of HTML and an introductory to CSS. It will take some time for me to transcribe the videos and write them in text form but I'll try my best to do them as fast as I can!
Alright, let's begin with the first video:
Introduction To The Course
Hi.
My name is Robin Haney and I will be your instructor for this course.
This course is perfect if you've never written a single line of code before, or if you need a refresher on how to build a website.
You will start things off by learning the basic HTML and creating the structure of a webpage. In this course, we are going to pretend that we are building a website for a client.
Once you have HTML down pat, we will move on to the basics of CSS as well as intermediate level CSS styling for the website.
This will be the finished product of our website.
This is our landing page for a website. We will be building an about page for our client, a blog page, a contact page, and a portfolio that functions as a grid that shows our client's work.
Our website will also be mobile responsive and adjust depending on what device our website is being viewed on. We can see here all pages on our website are mobile responsive and will look great in mobile and tablet devices.
We will be building all of this from scratch, so you will be learning a lot in this course.
This is great for anybody who needs that extra little help to just put everything all together to get a website online. If you've ever wanted to learn web development, then this course is perfect for you.
If you would like to skip ahead and grab all the videos you can do so by clicking here.
See you in lesson #2!
Great lesson! Looking forward for #2
