Need a Visual Aide in Time Zones? [Post When the Whales Will See You]

in programming •  8 years ago  (edited)

I've been online chatting with Steemit Whales all day.

I find Steemit to be incredibly interesting from a technical standpoint.

With almost 20yrs in various aspects of IT (analytics, support, programming, hardware, virtualization), I'm hooked on Steemit and the fun, interesting avenues it's already seemed to have taken me down.

A big notion out here seems to be "I want the Whales to see my post, Upvote Me and make me the $!"

  • Issue 1: Will they see you?
  • Issue 2: When would they see you?
  • Issue 3: When should I actually post to increase my chances of them seeing me?

Well, here you go Steem'rs. This is a quick and dirty visualization of timezones. Pop in your Timezone and visually compare it to UTC, GMT, etc. Whatever you need. It lays it out easily for you. Maybe @ned and @dan will see ya. ;-)

Go check out @bitcalm's post here on when Whales upvote. Props to you, @bitcalm and I'm gonna take a peek at that code to see if we can add anything else to it. (Maybe a Git repository would rock for it.)
