starting to color a new drawing

today i am starting to color a new portrait sketch. i finished my last one and started a new one. lets talk about the process till now.
i have only started so first i change the sketch color into something red related like orange or purple or pink or something like that. that way when coloring beneath, the sketch color is not too distracting. after that i take new layer beneath and use some flat colors, after flat colors i use darker and lighter colors, i am at that stage right now.
if i have to say anything, i like the hair of this drawing a lot
