Do you know the feeling, when you know that now is the time, that you are on the right place? That feeling, that it is your destiny to be right here right now?
Yesterday I had that cairos-moment.

It started with a great spring weather. I arrived in the early afternoon the location from @Detlev. After some greetings I sat on the sun and read the Book "Einfach anders Arbeiten" from @Detlev. It fits into my life-situation. I was allowed to take the book home.
Then the first other guests appeared. I have never met one of them (including Detlev) before. But all of them are warm hearded and they burn for Steem. So we had a lot to discuss.
I learned a lot from @suesa. Here are some tools which I want to test in the next days: Dustbunny, share2steem, Steempeak, Steemvoter, Dlease,…
I also had nice talks with @arcange, @soyrosa, @Senzenfrenz, @shortcut, @brittandjosie,…

After BBQ we startet with the speakers. Here are my meeting minutes. This is what I understood. There is no warranty, that this is, what was intended by the speakers:

Steembit is in the moment just an idea and only basically realized.
When you blog pictures on steem, then only the link is stored in the blockchain. The pictures are stored somewhere else. For example on amazon servers. This costs fiat money.
The idea from Steembit is, to store the data on servers, that are hosted by the community. Users can download a software package, which delivers the local storage to the community. Depending on the amount and speed of storage, the users get rewarded by delegated Steempower.
This would help the users to get some indirect rewards and would help the steem-community to get cheap storage. And the community is not depended on external suppliers.
It will not be a peer to peer solution, because this is very inefficient.
Another advantage is, that not only pictures but also pdf, Excel,.. could be stored.

• The mission of Utopia: Bring open source projects together with people who can provide them.
• Utapian can support with every currency.
• Utopian is absolutily great. Unfortenutally we need a steemvalue from about 2 Dollars to be attractive for the workers.
• Mycolonies is a minecraft mod with AI by @reggaymuffin.
• Steemstem supports science. Steemstem got delegation from its members, which is not easy to achieve.
• On Steem you can write and get paid directly. When you write a book, than it takes up to 3 years. As a publish-writer you don’t have contact to the audience directly, with Steem you have.
• So the money was not the first thing, that was impressing, but this is what is mostly told to non Steemians. We need to shift the focus. People ask, how to earn much money very fast. People put some stuff/shitposts on Steem and expect to earn money. When they don’t get it, there are frustrated. We need to focus on the contacts.
• Indigogo is a campaign on Utopian
• 35000 $ is the goal, but until now we just got 2000 $.
• She quitted Steemstem
• The @Buildteam created Minnowbooster, ginabot, dustbunny, …
• Utopian needs lot more help from the community.
• Utopian is also an ideahub, but there is some room for improvement in the marketing.
• Our problem is, that the people that know the most of the blockchain are not that interested into the social aspect. The coolest developers cannot bring their stuff to the people.
• She is a moderator in the general channel of Steemchat. But a lot of the dolphins are gone.
• Basic message: We all need to do more interaction with the newbies.
• It’s a pitty that we need discord for Steem.

TokenBB and Dlease by @reggaemuffin

TokenBB is a forum-plattform on Steem.

The focus is not on money but on communication.
You can log in without a Steem account as a guest.
If new usres have used enough TokenBB, then some money was saved and users can get a Steem account directly without waiting.

To create a forum one needs to pay 10 Steem once.
The content is on the Steem blockchain. The Frontend is open source. The Backend (including Gina Bot) is propriety.
The API caches the content, so the tool is quiet fast.
Rewarding is possible for more than 7 days (by creating a small comment)
For gamers it is very interesting, because they can earn money by talking about gaming.
Each forum is a top level post and each post is a comment there.
The content is public on the Steem blockchain.

There are several badges. People like batches.

Conclusion

At the end of the evening I was very tired. A lot of impressions and new stuff (and beer) has filled my head. I had to go home by bike and so I lay in bed at 2 am, tired but happy.
