Planning to Organize Steemit Workshop Aiming to Improve Posts of Steemians from Iligan City Philippines

Hello everyone and welcome to my steemit page! I and a fellow steemian, @paulthebeloved (who is also a longtime friend) had a brief discussion regarding possible steemit projects under the banners of @steemph.iligan and @stachph.

If you guys didn’t know, @steemph.iligan community (a small steemit community I lead here) has partnered with @stachph to help promote steemit platform throughout Iligan. This partnership also aimed to support local steemians by organizing steemit workshop intended to improve the posts of our people.

I am really thankful towards the efforts of @juvyjabian and @ejemai in creating this Steemit Accelerator Hub in the Philippines and felt lucky enough, especially that the very first stach office is built here in our small city. The creation of such workplace here in Iligan City would help me execute my long term vision of creating a sustainable steemit community here.

As a token of appreciation, I and @paulthebeloved have come up with an idea of creating an impact in our society. I am confident that with his help, there will be no obstacles that could stop us from achieving that dream.

Thus we agreed to organize a simple steemit workshop as our first step towards attaining that dream. I really appreciate you guys for getting your friends and family into the platform! Now allow me help you become more proficient in the platform. And as what we always say in @steemph.iligan, “let us cultivate that creativeness of yours and develop that aptitude to its full potential!”

What Paul and I have come up with our discussion today was to conduct more or less a 5-hour steemit workshop aiming to teach simple ways on how to create good steemit posts. There’s still no definite schedule for the said event but we planned to organize it as soon as possible.

I’ve come up with this initiative in response to a lot private messages I received in that past days asking me for help with regards to steemit. I am doing this for you guys and so I hope that you would take this as an opportunity to learn and earn!

The workshop will include a brief introduction on the creation of steemit platform and the people behind it. We will also provide an overview of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency to help them understand how steemit works. We claim not to be experts of these matters thus any help would much be appreciated.

We will then focus on conferring the importance of constantly publishing good contents by presenting most successful steemit posts from Filipino steemians as well as teaching them basic formatting, teaching how to increase the visibility of their posts by using appropriate tags, and probably anything that could help them grow as a steemian.

We have also come up with a humble idea of reaching out to the needy by doing charity works of specifically feeding the hungry. This was inspired by the quote “when God blesses you financially, don’t raise your standard of living, raise your standard of giving”.

We initially planned to do it once in a month but we would be happy to do it weekly if God permits. Of course we will take the money out of our own pocket to support this initiative. I will then talk to some of my co-members from @steemph.iligan if we could support this idea.
