For the firs time ever in human existence we have a secondary option to a non-governmental controlled currency which is really mind bubbling. Now this is why you and i have got a secondary option and this is why steem is so important or any other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Etherium and so many more different cryptocurrencies.

Technically, the reason why you need to understand steem and the concept of it all and get to know how cryptocurrency works is because it gives you an option to opt out, it gives you many multiple different options and opportunities to benefit you and your family to benefit around the world. So if you look at the banking system right now around the world with the inflation rates, it is actually absard which tells all of us that we all are in big trouble. For instance currency wise, in India two denomination of currencies were eliminated, in the US the whole government shutdown not too long ago, among others. For the first time ever in human history steem gives us a secondary option that is not controlled by the govrenment and it’s not controlled by the federal reserve system because anyone right now can buy steem from different cryptocurrency exchanges and more so you can earn steem.
So if you have steem, you can send it anywhere, at anytime and in any place around the world which does not even cost any cent transacting through steemit and done in less than 2 minutes. As opposed, if i go to my bank and i would like to send probably $4000 to a friend in the United States, we have to go through a lot of processes for example i have to go through institution number, account number among others and wait for about 72hrs, pay roughly $40 to send the money which is kind of ridiculous because even when I’m transacting from my own branch to their own branch in a different country they still charge transaction fee but with steem you are the bank, you own the bank in your telephone. Even when your telephone is lost “God forbid”, you can backup your credentials to log into a new device so as to carry on with the transactions.
The world bank says that there are roughly 2 billions people who are unbankable in the world. Now those are 2 billion people who literally don’t have bank accounts probably because the government doesn’t trust them or because they are too corrupt in their countries and won’t give them bank accounts. For the first time ever, these 2 billion people can have their own bank accounts and all they need is a telephone plus an internet connection so that they can have a Ugandan bank account, Germany bank account, among others on their telephones. They therefore don’t need to worry about the corrupt government around them because they are their own bank with steemit.
Imagine people around the world were offered affordable telephones and brought to the crypto economy online on a decentralized distributed platform like steemit. This is why I’m a huge optimist of the future because i think the future is bright and i love the fact that this kind of blockchain technology technically empowers people. Furthermore, if we are looking at charities and foundations, there is a lot of corruption and the people have no ideas where their money goes in charity because the whole point of charity is to solve a problem but yet the charity has been in place for quite a long period of time and yet the problem to be solved still exists. With a blockchain technology and cryptocurrency everything becomes transparent. Well, I’m certain that steemit is going to revolutionize the world as we know it because it gives everyone a second option and opt out of the fiat currency system and create our own economy in the market place that is not controlled by anybody.

I think Steemit is the first genuine try for a decentralised dApp for social media. It deserves a good future.
