My provocative speech on Facebook today about the opportunity of the crypto era.

It is wonderful how we are so willing to change everything we have but ourselves. This afternoon something came across my mind which necessitated me going live on Facebook in efforts to try waking up the sleeping potentials in my followers.
Like I had said, I have 5000 friends on Facebook and close to a 1000 followers who are mostly youth and jobless. Most of these people are either students or unemployed graduates who are waiting relentlessly on government to find them non-existent jobs.

What did I talk about?

If you could afford to change a new phone every month would you? Why do you struggle to buy the new release of software or devices which sometimes cost so much? You have iPhone 7, why would you spend so much money in efforts to get iPhone 8?
The answers to the above brings forth a value many of us have chosen to ignore. This means that anytime something small is added to your life your value increases significantly.
So if you are ready to sweat for upgrades of your devices, why don't you strive to update yourself for this fast changing world?

When was the last time you attended a public lecture? When was the last time you tried adding anything new to your life?
Many of us just live though each day comfortable in our own skin and hoping that we woke up many times richer for doing nothing. Oh come on, there is no such thing a quick way to riches. Have you not see people who win lottery? No matter how much it is they get back to brokenness fasted than they got the money.

You can't be rich until you are ready to be rich and that means you have to develop yourself in order to be ready. Anyone can get money but only few people can get rich. That is the simple fact. Why do rich people always easily get up after falling but poor guys find it so hard? It is all about the psyche, the mindset.

You say you did not know as though it was someone's duty to tell you. This is the era of overwhelming information and the world is changing so fast that no one has the time to remember you anytime there is a change.

This means that you have to also jump awake and stand out for yourself. I often say that the day you became a complete individual was the day your umbilical cord got disjointed from your mom's.

It was that day you became an entity on your own. The first time you depended on your lungs for oxygen, you depended on your heart for blood perfusion and on your own kidneys to expel your waste. In fact, even though you sucked your mom's breast milk, you still had to manage and digest that in order to make use of it. If you underestimate this innate ability check the statistics of babies who die out of lactose intolerance just because they lacked the enzyme lactase making them unable to digest the lactose in the milk.

So after all these, now you are an adult and you still expect to be told everything? You still expect to be spoon fed on how to live through life? I am not saying don't seek for help. In fact, I am asking you to seek for help, if you don't know ask questions and get involved. Learn through anywhere, be proactive and don't wait to be told.

You use chunks of data updating Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook and you think it is too hard when it comes to using those same tools productively to make a life for yourself instead of waiting helplessly on non-existent jobs.

Steemit is a huge opportunity for you so much that the mention of it should necessitate a look into it. The problem is that many of us easily close ourselves to salesmen meanwhile selling is all about helping and it is a skill every potential successful person ought to have. How then do you develop this when you close your mind up thinking that you know it all when in fact you have no idea.

Most of us just find it so comforting to say "I can't" just because we are not ready to go the extra mile yet we would be the first to complain when others make it.
