Preparations underway for the first ever STeemit Public presentation in Tamale, capital of Northern region of Ghana

Promoting Steemit is the duty of the people who have seen and utilized the opportunity that Steemit presents. I have been off lately in that regards but with the Tamale community under the able guide of @tj4real, we are up to the game again.

The steemit Tamale team decided that it was time to redefine promo-steem by inventing public seminars instead of meetups. After few hours of deliberations it was decided that the decision be extended to the whole community to contribute inputs as to how to make sure this became a success.

Yesterday was the first of these series of meetups towards the grand public presentation. Our target is to present this to as many people as possible which is in line with @tj4real projection of reaching 10,000 people by the close of the year.

It is true they say, two heads indeed are better than one but in this case many heads are better than two. There were wonderful ideas from the team made up of myself, @tj4real @nana-apau, @muhammadalikatu, @gadol and @patrix

Well, the sun was at its peak on our way to the meeting but I guess @ned and @dan went through more difficult circumstances to get us this system that makes dreams happen.
It is so wonderful and any sweat shed on promoting Steemit is worth it. You may not know who's dreams you will give a big chance by inviting them to this wonderful platform. Now when I wake up each morning I have a hope to look up to and this brightens my heart.

So when the Bible stated that no legs is better than t that which walks to bring good news to people, I knew this was what it talked about.

Some day I was presenting Steemit to a classmate and she asked me what I'd get when I invite someone on board. That day, I sincerely thanked God that this platform was not built on any affiliation scheme. I told her I was only interested in sharing what I had been benefiting from and if she did join I had nothing much to gain but if she didn't then I would be hurt.
Today she is here as @divyn thanks to that and who knows what Steemit may come to represent in her life. This is the motivation I carry when I go about promoting Steemit to people.

I must say I am already excited about the prospects of these public presentations we have plan to execute and I am confident we shall get more great content creators to contribute to this platform. Let's get Tamale on Steemit!
