"I love meeting new people; I think everyone has a story to tell. We should all listen sometimes."
-Kim Smith
Steemit Cebu chapter held another bloggers meetup at Marisse Patisserie earlier today and as I already expected, the place was jam packed.
Again I would like to hand it to the organizers, the place was perfect for the meetup and the food/sweets was to die for...
Seriously though, I have to say we REALLY have to get a bigger venue next time... I think you all know what I mean... The Steemit Cebu community is growing... BIG... and FAST....
Anyways, as I have already mentioned in my previous post My 1st Steemit Bloggers Meeting experience..., I have a little bit of challenge when it comes to the "PR department" but since I've already met a few fellow steemians before, I felt more comfortable this time.
Since there were so many of us who attended the meetup, the core leaders had to, again, divide us into three groups... the newbies, the existing/active users, and the international (foreign) bloggers.
existing/active users excitedly waiting for @jassennessaj to start his discussion
The discussion was basically about cryptocurrency and how it works. The topic of digital currency, I'm sure, was alien to most of us, but thanks to one of our core leaders @jassennessaj for elaborately explaining the topic. It is now much clearer to me than it was prior to the meet up.
What I appreciate a lot about this team is that everyone is very much willing to share their own experiences and success stories and share tips to help other members improve their crafts.
here's @jassennessaj discussing cryptocurrency to eager steemians... myself included
"When you go out and meet new people, you can come up with new ideas and be enlightened and even help the world become a better place."
My key takeaways from this meetup? Easy...
Engage
Take time to interact with other steemians. Learn from them and feel free to share your ideas as well.Try and try until you succeed
As per @jassennessaj, "dili jud lalim" (it's not easy at all)... You may not succeed on your first attempt but you can always have "plan B"... and if it still doesn't work, there are 22 more letters in the alphabet... try and try until you get the result that you want, and you'll see yourself right exactly at the spot where you want to be...Only post quality contents
Aside from including high quality photos, try to share topics that would spike interest. Be different, be creative... I remember @ybanezkim26 mentioning in one of his posts, "think out of the box"... Try telling a story in a way that no one has done or tried before...
Can't wait for the next meet-up... <3 <3 <3
Love,
@feimandcharm
Wasnt able to listen to the talk insode as there was also another discussion outside. Indeed we are growing as a community and im thankful for the people behind the event as they have
been very supportive. I hope we will someday scream our success in steemit as we continue to bring people into the platform

I know right?! It's amazing how people really took a little time out of their busy day just to meet with fellow steemians. We are very lucky indeed to have such dedicated core leaders...
We are getting there @josejirafa... slowly but surely...
