Vote for Steemit as the Social Network of the Year!

I know we all have our share of criticism when we talk about Steemit.com, but in most cases we do it because we care and want things to improve.

And when there is a vote that can crown Steemit as the social network of the year, this is not mainly about Steemit.com, because we know how confusing this gets to an outsider to make the distinction between Steemit and Steem.

Sure, I would have probably voted with both hands if SteemPeak were in the race, some of you might have preferred a different front end, but finally there's only one thing that matters: they are all on Steem, and crowning Steemit basically crowns Steem and everything on it to the outside world.

Currently Steemit is in the lead, but there are still many days till the end of the vote. By all appearances, and without pretending that I know much about the runners up, voters on this website like alternative platforms much more than the traditional ones. That is even one more reason for us to lead and win a contest that doesn't seem to be dominated by Twitter or Facebook or Instagram, considering their huge user bases, which can turn into voters.

Plus, at the time of writing this post, only a little over 3300 votes have been cast, so our numbers can count much more than if the vote would have already included 500k people.
