How to Develop Superman Confidence while Promoting Steemit... Withdraw Some Steemit Money and Show Your Friends!!

in promo-steem •  7 years ago

Promoting Steemit in Africa especially Uganda is really a big task.It is really hard as in hard!
I have been telling almost any one who lends me even just 5 seconds of their time about Steemit!

So today i talked this guys below here in this pic and it was a wonderful new experience to me as you will find out later.

In Uganda many people have lost money in Online scams and pyramids in the past!

It is no wonder that everytime i explain or introduce Steemit to friends, the first question always is

How do i withdraw or get real cash?

In the past before i made my my first withdrawal,i used to explain how the whole process works.

Change Steem/Steem Dollars into Bitcoin on an exchange
Convert Now the Bitcoin to Ugandan Cash

Lately this question has become so easy for me to answer after i did my First Steemit Withdrawal.

It is so fascinating that after i made that withdrawal some of my friends then Signed up...!!!!!
I had told these guys about Steemit and they didnt sign up saying

You first do it,we shall join later.

Indeed true to their word, some are now asking me many questions on how to go about Steemit(so like i am becoming a Steemit consultant...which is a good feeling .....hahahaha).

Let us get back to today's experience.

I introduced Steemit by asking my usual questions(if it is an informal setting)

Have heard or know anything about Bitcoin or crytocurrency?

I asked this 3 friends individually to gauge on how i can help them understand Steemit.

One of them had not heard anything about Bitcoin or crypto..!!!
The other two had a sketchy idea!

so i explained Crypto an briefly by telling them the history of money

In the early days we used to exchange goods(barter trade)
After after barter trade we moved to using coins and we moved to precious metals.
I told them currently we use fiat or hard paper money.
I now told them we are steadily moving to the digital money(crptocurrencies)

A lot of questions were asked after this explanation and i did my best to answer them all.

Another notable question asked was how does Steemit make money to pay users...i explained the reward pool concept to them.

The obvious question did not miss out.

How do i get real Ugandan Money!

As i had said earlier, this part now is the best for me to explain, because i have all the conviction.

I just told them, this is easy as i just withdraw money last week!

One of them insisted i show them!

Africans believe by seeing!

I had no other option but to take him through my account and show him the whole process.

I then showed them how the money is paid,by being sent to my Steemit wallet as shown below and showed them how to redeem!(This were inquisitive folks and IT guys!)

I even showed them how to change Steem Dollars to Steem in the market!

I also had to show them the exchange i used to convert my Steem to Bitcoin and also my Bitcoin wallet.
It was really an amazing experience for them i guess!
4.jpg 3.jpg

I showed them the small Bitcoin i have in my Bitcoin wallet and did a rough conversion on Google and they were amazed!

I told them i was not goin to withdraw any money today, but i took them through all the steps except the last one!

They understood and promised to sign up.
One signed up in my presence though and gave new ideas of how to promote Steemit and make it Viral in Uganda!

This guy is really serious,he has grasped the potential of Steemit.

He is Nigerian and he even messaged his Nigerian brothers to tell them about Steemit!(that is how excited he is)
He was answering his bother's on Facebook questions like a pro already!.......we have a new power promoter here guys.

I will be now promoting Steemit with him widely here as soon as his account is approved.

The guy i am talking about is the one holding the phone or having a toothpick in that first photo!!!!

In conclusion if you withdraw some money from Steemit you will unbelievable confidence in Steemit.
You become a testimony to your peers.

I promised them i will write a full post explaining how i withdrew my money and they were excited about the post already!

That was my Steemit experience today, feel free to share you experience in the comments section below.
