The Night was Intense and Full of Fun

The 5th Steemians Basketball Meetup was indeed another amazing event. Another bonding of Steemians with the sport the country love - Basketball. It's now our 5th Steemit Meetup and I couldn't believe it's now 5th, it was like yesterday since we played our first game with @melsmacan, @loydjayme25, @jbeguna04, @chuuuckie, @josephace135, and other Steemians where we were only 10. But now, the number have significantly grown!

It was a night full of energy and competitiveness. I played with @dopinthezone, @natz04, @reyarobo, and @krvin for two games and luckily we won all of them. One of the best things is because of teamwork and fair distribution of the ball. We assured that every is getting the ball and everyone enjoyed the game. Of course, we had good shots together.

But it never will be a win without @dopinthezone's hot threes. The man is on fire. I think he was the MVP of the whole night along with @axiltr7. They both played well. They were the best players of the night. @dopinthezone's three and @axiltr7's quickness and fair distribution of the ball made that decision.

I am privileged enough to play my first wood basketball experience and all because of Steemit. To be honest, I am a football fan. I always watched a lot of games online like Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, and the best of all : Laliga. My favorite team is FC Barcelona and Manchester United. Only that Philippines doesn't know much about that sport : it's a stranger for most of the Filipinos. That's why my focus shifted to Basketball, the most available sport in our country. Many times I've said that Philippines is a basketball crazy country, it's a religion here. So yes, glad that I organized this kind of event as a recreation. All because of Steemit.
