Steemit Guest Party : We learnt & We are growing already

Some time back I talked about a guest party which had been put up by the steemit Ashanti team of teamghana, to take steemit to those on the fence, to the masses who were still skeptical as to the genuity and authenticity of steemit, and also to educate ourselves on some things which throw us off on steemit.

Yes it was dated to come off at X5 Pub Krofrom, Kumasi, yesterday, and the morning couldn't have gotten off to a better start as I woke up and did a number on my household activities early enough to have a ton of hours sitting and thinking about how amazing the party would be.

The party was booked to start off at exactly 11:30 a.m but due to some intervening circumstances, I and my guest set off to the rendezvous at around 10:30a.m, bearing in mind, the horrible traffic situation.
After hours of sitting in a taxi which was burning at 60°C, we finally made it to the station which led to the meeting point. We weren't familiar with the area so we had to ask around until we finally made it to the team successfully.

I must admit the number wasn't as many at the time of arrival but even at that, I shook and fidgeted for as long as I could remember(shyness has a toll on me)

After some time the party wore into itself and started off with an amazing presentation from the head of steemghana or should I say teamghana @tj4real. His talk opened my eyes and mind widely to some things which were stuffed under the veil. All through his talk I could only muster a nod, as I took in everything he said. It was great. He was great.

After that my senior man, my boss @anaman, also gave a short but concise talk to beef up the whole party. He made a lot of salient points which helped me to realize some other things which before were a mystery to me.

And lastly @collinz, also gave an exhilarating talk about powering up one's SP and how to get one's reputation to increase. That topic was of utmost importance to me, and his free flowing presentation made it even better for me. I ended up fully satisfied on both ends, and all my questions answered before I could ask them.

After all of the education, some questions were allowed to be thrown in amidst a feasting congregation. I must say the fun was interlaced with education. Being a shy guy, I was clogged at a corner, jotting down as many points as I could in my head.

All in all I would say, being a maiden steem party it was great👍🏿. If you missed out on it, you missed out on a lot of fun and education. And to my guest, who is now a steemian @kwesi, thanks a lot for joining steemit with your expert knowledge👍🏿.

I also want to thank the Ashanti team for putting it together successfully. And @tj4real, thank you so much for travelling several hours to be with us. @ackza, I learned you were the brain behind the party being put in place, thanks a lot for bringing your idea on board.
