Motorcycle engine oils differ from car engine oils that they contain additives specially for Wet clutch called JASO MA/MA2 stands for Japanese Automobile Standards Organization , this additive is formulated to deliver higher clutch frictional performance and are designed for use in any four-stroke motorcycles and scooters with wet-clutch. Scooters that have dry clutch CVT ( Continuous Variable Transmission) should use engine oil with JASO MB that is a friction modifer in order to provide fuel economy benefits, scooters also can use Car engine oil just for ones with dry clutch which is separate.
