This is what we're all trying to strive for. To incalcate change among our fellow Africans.
It all started as a joke, people at first called it a scam, and failed to join. It's true others are still calling it a scam and they fear to invest their hard or easy earned dime into cryptos.
This is due to the fear that the developers of these currencies may just wake up one day and disable all the transactions.. The thing which am not so sure that it can happen.
Those who invested their money in the crypto coins are now enjoying the benefits of trranctions.
However as of now, Bitcoin price and all crypto coins are at their worst prices. But those who invested when the prices were as cheap as nothing, they aren't affected much by the fluctuations.

This is a one wholes hop in Kampala town. Along kikuubo market. The owner knows about the generation where going in and he is well informed about the crypto world. So he decided to allow Bitcoins as a medium of payment at his shop.
These and more are yet to be established and its our primary duty to let people know about the world we're going in for.
I know the most challenging issue here in Uganda is illiteracy and poverty. One cannot be earning a gross income of 150k ugx and expect him or her to buy a smart phone of minimum 150k ugx or a pc of minimum 500k.
This problem is still so challenging and it's the main reason as to why most of the people are unaware and can't join.
But all in all, God will help us and we go through it.
