We rise by lifting others

Most times were often get trapped in the things that hinders our joy and we tend to forget that everyone you see walking on the street with a smile on their face has their own battles. Why not take a new route by focusing and looking for who to help or lift.

We make a living by what we get. But we make a life by what we give. – Winston Churchill

When you genuinely help others, your life starts to have a purpose and meaning. Material possessions don't give real joy, but the joy we derive when helping others is un-explainable (if it is truly genuine) giving to the needy and less privilege qualifies us for the riches of the universe, and happiness is the overall. When other peoples needs become yours, when their problems becomes your own problem, your life will be full of abundance and becomes fertile for any seed to be planted on effortlessly.

There is something so natural about giving when we actually do it that it makes one wonder why we can fall prey to the mind that champions self-centredness as the route to peace and happiness. The mind tries to talk the heart out of generosity and kindness.

Naturally, when we lose our self to another persons's challenge/circumstance we automatically propel the gratification of our own life. Probably you were facing a challenge before, gratification helps hinder the light of those problems. Gratitude is great way we create true happiness and peace.

When we talk about ''help'' it covers everything both humans and animals. Those of us who have pet can relate to this, for instance you have a dog, the more you take care of your dog, feed him, play with him and all at night that same dog guides and secures you environment. This connotes that we are automatically helping ourselves when we assit or help the next person who's in need.

We are much more deeply connected than we could ever imagine, and everything we do to another, we do to ourselves. As we encourage another, or celebrate their success, we are sending the same message to ourselves. There really is no “other”, we are all droplets of the same ocean, so we are really helping ourselves when we give to the other.
