No obstacles will ever leave you the way it found you. You will either be better or worse. Problems are the price of progress. The obstacles of life are intended to make us better, not bitter. Adversity has advantages.

The truth is that if you like things easy, you will have difficulties. If you like problems, you will succeed. The biggest success are the ones who solve the biggest problems. The Bible is a book of problems filled with stories of men and women who faced incredible challenges and with God's help overcame them and found themselves at another level.

The Chinese have a proverb that says, "the gem cannot be polished without friction, nor man perfected without trials"
It seems that great trials are the necessary preparation for greatness. Consider what Jesus said, "Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows; but cheer up, for I have overcome the world."

When you encounter obstacles, you will discover things about yourself that you never really knew. You will also find out what you really believe.

Every problem introduces a person to himself. The breakfast of champions is not cereal, it's problems

Do you want to accomplish something in life? Be like the stone cutter. Jacob Riis says, "look at the stone cutter hammering away at the rock, perhaps 100 times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the 101st blow it will split in two and I know it was not the last blow that did it, but all that had gone before.

Whatever you want to accomplish in life will require persistence. Champions race car driver Rick Nears says, "To finish first, you must first finish." persistent people begin their success where most others quit.

Montesquieu said, "Success often depends on knowing how long it will take to succeed " The secret of success is: never let down and never let up. Consider what proverbs says. "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings.

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, "The great majority of men are bundles of beginning." Be like the bulldog.

"The nose of the bulldog is slanted backwards so he can continue to breathe without letting go"..... Winston Churchill
