Last week Sunday a team of youth were briefed about steemit,the headcount was just 12,the briefing was just to talk about what steemit is all about,questions ranging from decentralized social media was enumerated,questions like SBD conversion and posting a good content was talked about etc.Our discussion was summarized and sent via message to participants,until they are well trained they they will sing-up to steemit.i am comming up with an ideological orientation that can be transformed into programmes.
Yesterday saw me speaking with Mr Sunday Odion,a convener for youth development at Ikotun,lagos that can boast of 200 active members Nigeria,
A man known to have affected life positively for many years,due to my busy schedule we decided to have a sit down talk at 7:30pm yesterday,we thrashed out a lot of issues and projected a way forward for the youth in the community .what was discussed is summarized below :
1.We intend to hand-pick talents amongst the youths and provide them with intensive training,
This classified talent will cut across various field of expertise, e.g content writers, graphic artist,agriculturist,musical artist,teachers etc.Because it is my opinion that this artisans will contribute positively and immensely to the steemit community, also they will positively impact on there self and there immediate community .
1 We looked at the cost of printing banners and fliers,and if possible refreshment,
2 it is my believe that they are bringing in with them the trade they ply,and also bring there experience too,this project will be purely strategic.
4 .someone raised a suggestion that we should bring representative from various surrounding community,but it was opposed as someone suggested we should keep that in the parking lot ..

.Ikotun is a mixture of rural and urban, to every representative is getting a piece of the action.A date has not been fixed yet as this will be the biggest training I have ever done on steemit
