Welcome to our Community Newsletter!
We believe in the positive impact that Steem can bring to people's lives. Even if it is a small change Steem has affected our lives by our new way of doing Social Media. In our community we have many talented and eager people who go the extra mile to help others, and create amazing works (together).
These people deserve to be put in the spotlight, that is why we have created a newsletter for our community, in which we showcase the initiatives and projects of our members and the creators themselves!
We hope that these newsletters will give a glance of all the beautiful movements that are happening within the Steem community.
Futurethinker and The Team
Today we’d like to introduce you to one of the most creative and hard-working app developers in the Steem community - Reazul Iqbal from Dhaka, Bangladesh. While studying for his Masters in Finance, he began doing Internet and web related side gigs. The pull of developing WordPress themes, and other front end projects proved stronger than the world of banking and finance so today he freelances crunching code instead of currency numbers.
Reazul discovered Steem in January, while researching the cryptocurrency market. As he got to know and understand the Steemit landscape, he found that it was easy for him to combine his programming knowledge and finance background to create solutions for the Steem community.
His first project, Steem-Escrow GUI, takes advantage of the built-in Steem escrow features. This was quickly followed by WTT Steem, a tool to make Steem-SBD buying decisions easier. Reading posts from other Steemians triggered the idea for Noble Bot - a bot to help Steemians who mistakenly broadcast their private keys in posts, comments, or in transfer memos.
These bots and apps were quickly followed by even more robust apps like mTasks, a Fiverr like platform built on top of STEEM blockchain using escrow features for securing payment and contracts. Reazul has also turned his talents to Discord, making a bot that can upvote specific content creators using community account voting power.
Reazul is dedicated to continuing to make Steem and Discord a better place for the community one app and bot a time. You can follow his progress, program and project updates HERE.
Some Steemians write great blog posts about daily life events. Some are budding authors and write riveting short stories. Zizymena handles both, and tosses in her Saturday Night with Zizy relationship advice column for an extra dose of enjoyable reading.
Whether she’s writing a Ulog entry, the latest part of an intriguing short story, or sharing her thoughts on the Steemian Universe, Zizymena is an enjoyable read. But Zizy also helps her fellow Steemians through those relationship ups and downs that affect us all at one time or another with practical, down to earth, actionable advice.
There are many blog writers who can guide us through the intricacies of the crypto world or provide a help us understand the ins and outs of Steemit, but sooner or later we all run into the uncharted waters of relationships. Zizymena’s warm, witty, and wonderful Saturday Night with Zizy helps strengthen relationships both on and off of the blockchain.
If your Saturday night isn’t all that you want it to be, spend some time with Zizy and let her help you get your relationships on track.
