Welcome to our Community Newsletter!

We believe in the positive impact that Steem can bring to people's lives. Even if it is a small change Steem has affected our lives by our new way of doing Social Media. In our community we have many talented and eager people who go the extra mile to help others, and create amazing works (together).

These people deserve to be put in the spotlights, that is why we have create a newsletter for our community, in which we showcase the initiatives and projects of our members and the creators themselves!

We hope that these newsletters will give a glance of all the beautiful movements that are happening within the Steem community.

Futurethinker and The Team

Steemit is a wonderous place. It allows so many acts of charity find a wider audience to make a difference in a local community that might otherwise go unnoticed. By bringing these initiatives to light, Promo-Mentors provides a platform for these organizations to gain support. By doing so, we hope the global community on Steemit will see the value and contribute to make an even greater impact. We also hope that everyone on Steemit will see these examples and try and implement other acts of charity in more locations around the globe. Today we are highlighting one such initiative, Steemit Kids World Foundation, run by @kofpato.

Steemit Kids World Foundation holds the philosophy that "you have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you". This truth holds a wonderful sentiment that we should all try to work into our own lives. All of the donations this organization receives goes directly to making a difference in the lives of many children who do not have the same opportunities as they should. By bringing their campaign to Steemit, they are able to feed children who might otherwise go hungry.

Steemit Kids World Foundation accepts donations from anyone willing to give so those funds can be turned into food, clothing, and supplies for needy children. If you have a chance, please check out their good work at Steemit Kids World Foundation.

Now, let me introduce you to a funny, charming, and eclectic chef blogger, @foodflaneur. Her blog is full of great food experiments that you can try and recreate for yourself, or if you are not into cooking, no worries, her posts are full of funny anecdotes that will make you laugh as she uses ingredients she knows from her life in London and those she is only now trying to understand in her new home in China. There is no doubt that her musings will surely brighten your day.

Since her first post, where she first describes how she found out about Steemit and laid down a three way she had with tomatoes, @foodflaneur has been providing savory posts ever since. Along the way, @foodflaneur also offers up great dietary advice, a quick wit, and a dialect that you can hear straight off the page.

If you are interested in all things Food, make sure and check out her blog. There is lots of great options you can add to your own recipe box or learn from the mistakes @foodflaneur have made. Let's give her some recognition and a shout out for the value she is bringing to the Steemit Community.
