well i can think of worse things to do in school ... i remember being depressed for weeks after summer break, as a kid even crying, on my very first day when my grandma dropped me off, i just turned around and said "i am NOT going inthere" , took them two weeks to get me back and in there.

o gods how i have always

HATED school ... i personally should have quit when i was 16, but that doesn't mean that goes for everyone :) some people need it, for others it holds them back, but you do need a base ofcourse

I also see school same way, its not easy leaving other things just to attend lectures and copy note that might end up not useful after exam. Other activities like promoting streem, writing programs with friends and planing huge project with friends are some of the reasons i see school useful. In summary; meeting people that will eventually be of aid to you in life

it all depends on the personnal situation i suppose , but im talking about state-organized mandatory school ofcourse, i took a course in socio cultural work long after which was completely fun and interesting, with many interesting people and interesting teachers but that's because everyone who was there chose to be there, no one was there because they had to because it's the law . Since all adults, the teachers don't act like "masters" either but more like people from the team lol, a complete difference, i started a bach in psychology on OU too but because there was no jobs to be had when i needed them the most i couldnt afford the 14.000 euro cost so i had to give that up too

and after that i decided if i wanted to learn i'll just use the internet ... i dont care much for that piece of paper, i know too many people who don't know anything but passed the exams and use it as some pedestal where they stand above others, besides the sheer number of degrees available has devaluated them overhere, people with the same bach in psychology might find nothing beter for a job than to work the counter at IKEA or a supermarket ... you would need like three or four to stand out

its become impossible for all but people who can afford plenty of it

it's not really entrepreneur friendly either, you couldnt sell a bar of soap without paying quarterlies that amount up to 10.000 euro a year even if you dont make a cent or you would be a tax evading criminal lol

welcome the the heart of europe

well that's true too. i mean people who seems to know nothing but still pass. professionalism outside the lecture halls is really helpful

all too often the best suited stay aside because the ones who have the contacts get in front ... thats where i have a problem with networking : it provides more for those with connections
than it does for those with talent, however

im opposed to regulation, im a bit of a darwinist i'm afraid

The connection thing has turned a factor here, where you consider if you know someone before going to apply. Thats really awful.
