My steemit ambassador application- forward ever backward never

Introduction

My name is Rumbidzai Debra Muchena. I’m a Zimbabwean and l started steemit last year in August. I’m currently employed as an educator l studied early childhood development and also social work majoring in psychology. For the few months that l’m here l learnt a lot of things and l really appreciate the love that this community has. They are not many Zimbabweans on this platforms and l’m willing to spend my time reaching to them. When l joined they were a couple of Zimbabweans but unfortunately they stopped steeming. According to my analysis they didn’t have much support on their blogs, they lacked exposure which I’m currently working on.

Why applying for being an ambassador

I’m applying for this because l feel that l’m hardworking and I’m also a good assert to this platform. Everyone in life wishes to wake up in the morning and do what they love to do and I’m sure this is what l want l have no doubt. If you notice l’m very consistent on this platform even if l’m not getting much l’m not giving up. I want to reach out to the Zimbabwean bloggers who were on this community and persuade them to come back. I put a lot of effort when researching and writing post. I have once reached and made interviews with some steemians who are well known and who are doing great on this platform. I’m working on engaging much with the people who are making it on this platform. I did interviews with @papa-pepper, @terrybrocks, etc and hope to do more of them. I,m also part of the @steemstem which is a platform for sharing science topics and l got introduced by @zest and I’m so thankful for that. I have also started writing about mental health which is in line with what l studied psychology.l have used facebook, instagram etc but they are not the same as this platform. My naturally outgoing person will definitely work for me when I’m selected as an ambassador.

Growth ideas

Currently I’m working as an educator but l feel like l should be here full time. If l get enough SBD I will definitely take @jerrybanfield course to upgrade my knowledge here on steemit. I opened a facebook page with 70 likes so far steemit confessions which I post my updates and soon will be posting on my youtube channel. I have 1230 followers on my blog and I’m working on having more. As often reported Zimbabwe has the highest adult literacy rate on the continent. A recent news article claimed that 90% of the population is literate. With such a percentage a lot of Zimbabweans are not aware of this platform. They is need for me to reach out to them to my people and tell them of this great platform. As we all know Zimbabwe is a poor country without its own currency. If they know of this crypto I’m sure a lot of them will want to invest in it. I started here with nothing and l’m sure soon my account is going to be worthy more. I see a lot of people doing meet ups and festivals which l wish to do one of the days.

If l get more SBD l’m sure it will help a lot. Right now l need to work on making videos so that l can get exposure out there. It’s quiet a challenge for me now to persuade people to come because so far my account is worth around 100 something dollars which is a bit low. Being an ambassador will help me to reach out, engage and challenge steemians. I hope to attract @whales on this platform will do all l can to achieve this goals.

Conclusion
I hope to succeed on this application and I’m looking forward to share my passions with others especially those who haven’t heard about this platform. Thank you all for reading my application.
