Not too long ago, I made a post on Steemit Guest Party, a promotion meetup that was mainly focused on bringing steemians and guests together.
On Saturday 3rd February 2018, the meetup went on as planned. The event started around 12pm GMT. We had a 4-hour and more fun-filled and educative event.
The part that got me hooked was the training session. Issues concerning steemit were discussed and questions, answered. The likes of @tj4real, @anaman, @collinz and @odsam2 gave short discourses on steemit. More light was thrown on steemit by these speakers and other attendees.
We had the humble opportunity of meeting our fellow steemians, dining and socializing.
Indeed, steemit is a warm community; you just have to enjoy the warmth it provides!
We got well acquainted and even made new friends!
Many thanks to the organizers of #teamashanti of #teamghana for making something that was once a plan an achieved goal.
In all, the Steemit Guest Party was insightful and very enlightening. I wouldn't miss the next meetup for anything!
