Hello marvellous people of steemit I bring you warm greetings from Ghana. It is another wonderful day on the land of the University for Development Studies as I come your way with an update of #Tamale unit’s mega campaign about steemit and cryptocurrency awareness to students. As I said in my previous blog, we want to build a community of passionate and sociable steemians on the campus of this university regardless of different background, zeal and interest.

It is our hope that at the end of this campaign most of the students, if not all, will join us on this amazing platform to add value by contributing their quota in whichever way they can to make steemit a haven for all. It is also our hope that at the end of this promotional activities and with some time to come when one shout out "STEEMIT", the whole campus will shake with a chorus response of “GET SOCIAL, GET PAID”.
Yesterday's activity wasn’t different from what we did on the second day of our campaign. We continued our door to door rounds moving from one room to the other introducing steemit to the students. The team increased in number as @debbynep and @osmansnr joined the team. Thus, myself @sircharles, @tj4real, @ehmkannde, @w4c, @christianosei, @debbynep and @osmansnr went for the rounds.
Our session for this day wasn’t as expected because some of the students had gone for lectures and as such we could not meet many people at the hostel.
That notwithstanding, we were able to get some people to talk to and almost every one we had the chance to interact with was interested in the good news. We took them through the welcome page and explained to them that it requires no fee to sign up. Also, we took them through post creation, comments, upvotes, curation, payments, how and what tags to use for what articles, reputation among others.
We then helped them to register and hence their accounts are awaiting approval. Below are some of the pictures we took. Hope you enjoy them.
Nice one @sircharles. My brother @patrix told me about you.
