In case anyone was in any doubt at all about the growth of the #promo-steem tag, we wanted to share with you exactly where it is in terms of payouts to the community.
Amazing payouts to promoters
#promo-steem has as of today paid out over 80,000 SBD. We have done our very best to make sure that posts using this tag are of great quality, and this is partly what the guild voting mechanism that we are building is going to do....It will mean that Ambassadors can manually curate and reward only posts which are genuine high quality promotional work.
Bigger than Space
As a bit of fun, in Steemit terms at least, #promo-steem has now made more payouts than the Christianity, spirituality, work, success and even the nsfw tags. We're bigger than cannabis, space, movies, football and investment.
More than Creativity
In terms of numbers of posts made, there are more #promo-steem posts than there are posts tagged with creativity, family, youtube, business, trading and world.

Thats what I think too! I reckon we are going to be too big to be ignored. Essentially, what we are doing is building possibly a historic first....a decentralised voluntarist marketing system for something we all believe in....STEEM. We need great people, like you @futurethinker, but also all the other brilliant steemians across the world who are promoting STEEM and Steemit off their own backs. We don't know where this will go, but we are sure it will continue to do amazing things and bring STEEM awareness.
