INTRODUCING STEEM9JA:A COMMUNITY THAT AIMS AT CONNECTING AND ADDING VALUES TO THE NIGERIAN YOUTHS

Steem9ja is an ongoing community project that is aimed at promoting steemit among Nigerian youths. In the light of this, steem9ja intends supporting quality write ups of steemians, encouraging new steemians, guiding new steemians and helping the steemit community at large to grow in significant ways.

Steem9ja aims at helping the unemployed and undergraduates earn while in school and in search of a job. We hope to achieve this by helping them and teaching them how to post original content and get duly rewarded.

Steem9ja aims at discovering Nigerians who have talents and can impact to steemit community and the world at large positively.

VISION

1. To reach out to nigerian youths mainly students and tell them about steemit.

2. To inform Nigerian youths about cryptocurrency (trading, longterm investment, tutorials) and tell them the way things go in the cryptospace since that seems to be the future of earning.

3. To sponsor delegates for steemit meet-ups in Nigeria and abroad.

4. To progress to reaching out to the employed and show them another way of making extra income as a community.

5. To design an exchange that will trade funds gotten from steemit to FIAT currency(in this case Naira) so as to prevent monopoly. An escrow trading site.

6. To make sure at the end of 2018 that steemit via steem9ja community(under the leadership of @stach) will continue to spread far and wide and make a great impact to the young people of Nigeria.

WHERE ARE WE?

Steem9ja currently has 100+ members who are currently on different levels on steemit and are so excited about steemit. We have a whatsapp group in which new steemians from different part of Nigeria interact. The group was created on the 30th of November 2017. The group is headed by @bhoa and other administrators are @hokpulor, @thot2word, @emehuru, @pandygirl, @belemo. Here is a link to the whatsapp group:

We also have a community steemit account in which we intend to invest in
so as to support the community and in turn encourage the new steemians. Currently the account has invested in delegated steempower in order to support the new steemians emerging from this end.

THE STEEM9JA GUIDE

The Steem9ja Guide team aims at leading newbies on the right path on steemit. This team is headed by @gamsam.
Learning the dos and donts of steemit will be made simple for newbies by the team.
Many users sign up and in ignorance abuse the system at first. The guide team is there to ensure all steem9ja newbies are guided and geared well towards understanding the concept of steemit and how they can create quality content here.

We aim amongst other things to bring into steemit a wave of minnows that will help this community grow for the greater good.

FINANCES

For the financial aspect,
The community aims at general communal growth through combined efforts of every member towards growth of the community's account. In turn, this will ensure steady growth of individual accounts via the following mediums:

• post promotions
• posts up votes
• contests to encourage quality in writing
• financial advice to members as concerns steemit, etc.
  In addition, steem9ja is ready to ready to team up with several of the community's giants who wish to support our idea and vision.
  Donations/support in any form would be appreciated and duly maximized for the growth of the community at large.

PUBLICITY

The steem9ja publicity team aims at promoting steemit in Nigeria but mainly in tertiary institution. The publicity will include;

1. Organizing meet-up in different tertiary institutions in Nigeria since the set of people around there are quite flexible about learning new things
2. Organizing steemit walks and distributing flyers telling people about steemit and what they stand to gain at least once in a month
3. The publicity team plans on making shirts that will be worn at least once in a week in order to publicise steemit. They also plan to give t-shirts free to some newbies at least once in a month in a bid for publicity. Here is the proposed design for the shirt.
   
4. Going to radio stations and advertising steemit to the public at least once in a month..

LOGISTICS

The logistics team are meant help organise everything concerning steem9ja. They will be incharge of planning the meet-up, venue, how and the way Steemit will hit the nook and cranny of Nigeria.

DEVELOPERS

This team aims at creating a website that will help steemians sell their Steemit and steemdollars(sbd) for fiat currency. The site will consist of different with different prices at which they intend selling their earnings on steemit. This team is headed by @creatrixity and @sirfreeman.
###UPCOMING PLANS

1. University of port harcourt meet-up: This meetup is scheduled to hold on the 3rd of March, 2018 in a bid to prepare for the mega meet-up by @stach. In this light we will be needing donations so that this event can be funded.

2. Steemit contest: This contest aims at making the new steemian more enlightened about steemit. In this regard, steem9ja is open for sponsorship in terms of donations and other things.
