After the Weiss rating Steem at B- while Bitcoin at C+ , $500/coin is not at all impossible. Steem is going to be the coin for the year 2018.

People are finally waking up to the brute force and sheer power of the #Steem Blockchain. At $500/coin that would value #Steem at around $125 billion. Based on it's potential of where it could be in the next 5 years, this is cheap, THIS IS VERY CHEAP..!!

At first glance, $500/steem sounds kind of crazy. Doing a bit of math it would put total market cap at $123 Billion, which would rank it #2 in total market cap for the digital asset space.

But... then I look at youtube being valued at around $70 billion with all of it's bias and propaganda issues that are coming out. Steemit will have several sub-platforms that compete with youtube for video content. Plus it will have the hundreds or thousands of sub-platforms utilizing the SMT's.

All of that make a $500/steem price look well within the ball park of 'Possible' in due time.

Thanks for the comment. What most people fail to understand is that #STEEM has NO DEBT whereas all other Social Media Sites are being measured in $dollar terms which is in itself A DEBT INSTRUMENT that is rapidly loosing value..!!

I have said all along if #Steem does what I think it will and I am more confident now THAN EVER BEFORE, then the #Steem blockchain will be a +$500 billion Social Media Powerhouse..!!

The first time I mentioned this was last year in June when #Steem was valued at around $500m.

For anyone who may have missed it, here is the explanation as to why #Steem could hit +$500 billion.

Why I strongly believe that the STEEM ECOSYSTEM is set to become a +$500bn Powerhouse..!!

well...i believe that steemit will one day be great that bitcoin. Steemit has a steady growth and people all over the world wish to join steemit. I did join steemit 32 days back, but right now i believe i have gained a lot from steemit. I do also promote steemit in Uganda and i believe that one day the whole world will know and join steemit.

This is such great news for Steem with price increase and being listed by Weiss with a B- rating. There are so many more attributes in development and on the way for Steem and it is especially gratifying to have you promote it. Hard to keep up with Steem.
