Using the Steemit logo on Steem Promotional T-Shirts
Over the past few years it has felt like a minefield as to what we can and cannot do with the Steemit logo when it came to adding it to Steem Promotional T-Shirts.
As a Private Company, we must all respect the integrity and branding of Steemit when it came to Marketing and Promoting Steem.
Unlike Steem which has an open-sourced and free-to-use logo the Steemit logo and how it is used belongs solely with Steemit.
Imagine therefore my excitment earlier when I read a reply from the Steemit Team clarifying how we can now use the Steemit logo.

#Promo-Steem is an open-sourced project that has many different logos and are totally free for people to pick and choose which one they like using.
Being an open-sourced project is what gives #Promo-Steem it's real value as it allows everyone to be openly creative in their approach when it comes to marketing and promoting #Steem.
The logo you have picked for the PromoSteem Community looks awesome and I am looking forward to watching the Community grow.

So it does mean we can promote both logos the green one indicate the logo of steemit.com and the blue wavy one is a logo of steem we #promo-steem and also promote #steemit on a single t-shirt right sir @stephenkendal?

The round green Steemit logo belongs to Steemit and can now be used as long as it is accompanied with the words steemit.com.

I think the logo should be different colour but better than original. This logo will be the definition of promo-steem. Not the #steem or #steemit logo, something different.

Correct the misuse, there are people who upload the steemit logo with the word Steem. I don't know if you understand. But it's not good. Promote steem what we want. And the contest clearly talks about designs for Steem shirts.
